My God. That face. The angular jaw, the thin, European lips, the porcelain skin, and especially those crisp eyes, metallic as washers. It's my favorite kind of beauty. Not homely or sunny or vernal or full, but sharp, Classic, wistful -- almost haunting. There's wisdom and severity in the face, which, though challenging more than welcoming, absolutely ensnares.

If it happens you're no longer with this girl, and I've dredged up an entire history of hurtful emotions in my description, I can only apologize. There are many types of beauty, and I hope the best for you.
